Enrolling in a UCR CNAS class as a concurrent student through University Extension (UNEX)
Current UCR students have enrollment priority over concurrent students. Seats are not held for concurrent students and you will not be allowed to add until current students are accommodated. Most of the time, this is during week three of the term. Follow these steps to maximize your chances of securing a space:
1) Obtain a Concurrent Enrollment Form and Concurrent Enrollment Petition for iLearn Access from University Extension.
2) Take your forms to the contact listed below to have the Concurrent Enrollment Petition for iLearn Access form signed (this can be done before the term starts). Return it to University Extension.
3) Attend the course you want to add. Return to the enrollment contact below at the beginning of the third week to see if space is available.
4) If you are given a space in the course, return your signed Enrollment Petition to University Extension.
If you are a former UCR student, then you will need the approval of your College (CNAS, CHASS, BCOE, or AGSM) after you have obtained approval from the enrollment contact. Please contact the appropriate college office for specific procedures and policies.
